Dear Readers,
We are pleased to present the Petrone Group’s 2025 Sustainability Report, the fourth prepared on a voluntary basis. This report describes our journey and how we continue to combine growth, strategic vision and responsibility towards people, local communities and all our stakeholders.
For us, 2025 is a particularly significant year, as we celebrate 60 years since the opening of the first pharmacy, where our story began. It is an important milestone that makes us proud of the journey we have undertaken and further strengthens our determination to look to the future with consistency, aware- ness and a strong sense of responsibility.
Guided by this vision, and despite an international environment still charac- terised by instability and uncertainty, the Group continued along its growth path, achieving broad-based development across its various business areas and progressing with an organisational evolution aimed at a more structured Business Unit model. This journey has helped make the Group increasingly effi- cient, responsive and market-oriented, while strengthening its core business, supporting international development and leveraging commercial and organ- isational synergies.
For the Group, however, growth only has real meaning when it is accompa- nied by the ability to create lasting and shared value. It is from this perspective that sustainability continues to become increasingly embedded in the way we do business. It is not merely a reporting tool, but a tangible approach that helps us better understand the present and make more informed decisions for the future.
During 2025, we continued to strengthen our oversight of ESG matters across a number of particularly significant areas. First and foremost, we introduced a single platform for collecting data relating to the Sustainability Report and the Carbon Footprint, marking an important step towards a more integrated, consistent and structured approach to information management.
Enjoy your reading,
The Chairman
